Tomorrow, crews will install a storm sewer across Millard Avenue, just east of Yonge Street, in Newmarket. Please see below for more details.

work dates*: Friday, August 17
work hours*: 7am-7pm

what you need to know:

• To accommodate this work, traffic on Millard will be reduced to a single shared eastbound and westbound lane [9:30am–7pm].
• Traffic control staff and paid duty officers will be onsite to direct traffic for the duration of this work.
• Access to properties and businesses will be maintained.
• Wherever possible, sidewalks and bus stops will remain open. If a sidewalk or bus stop is closed, directional signs will guide pedestrians to the nearest open sidewalk or bus stop.
• Due to the nature of this work, at times, there will be construction-related noise and dust from equipment and trucks.
• Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
