On Wednesday night, crews will be working on the Bathurst Street water main at the Bathurst and Centre St. intersection. Please see below for further details on this work.

work dates*: Wednesday, Sept. 28 to Thursday, Sept. 29
work hours*: 7pm–6am, overnight
what you need to know:
- Crews will be excavating in the middle of the Bathurst and Centre intersection to work on the water main.
- To accommodate this work, traffic will be reduced to one lane northbound and southbound on Bathurst as well as eastbound and westbound on Centre.
- Left-hand turns will not be permitted in any direction.
- Paid duty police officers will be on site to direct traffic, as required.
- Transit service will continue during this activity. In order to maintain transit schedules, paid duty officers will allow for buses to make left-hand turns through the intersection.
- Wherever possible, bus stops will remain open. If a bus stop is temporarily closed, signs will guide pedestrians to the nearest open bus stop.
- Due to the nature of this work, there will be construction-related noise, dust and vibration from equipment and trucks.
- Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
*Please note: As with other road construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather or other variables. We’ll provide advance notice whenever possible.
