Mr. Rabeau brings more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience in infrastructure planning and capital delivery at York Region. In his interim role, he will lead YRRTC in advancing the Region's rapid transit priorities and overseeing the continued delivery of key transportation projects.
Michael is a highly respected and proven leader who is exceptionally well positioned to step into this role and guide the Corporation through the next phase of its work,

As we continue to advance critical rapid transit investments, strong leadership remains essential to delivering the infrastructure our communities need to support growth, expand housing opportunities and enhance connections between residents, businesses and employment areas.
We are fortunate to have a leader of Michael's calibre assume this important executive position,
said York Region Chairman and CEO Eric Jolliffe. His extensive experience, deep understanding of regional infrastructure delivery and commitment to public service will help ensure continuity, strong governance and continued momentum on these transformative transit projects. Delivering these investments remains critical to achieving federal, provincial and municipal objectives and supporting the long-term needs of our growing communities.
Having worked closely on the planning and delivery of rapid transit infrastructure throughout York Region, I am honoured to have the opportunity to serve as Interim President and CEO of YRRTC,
said Michael Rabeau. I look forward to working with the Board of Directors, staff and project partners to advance priority initiatives, including the Highway 7 East and Jane Street Bus Rapid Transit projects, as well as supporting the delivery of the Yonge North Subway Extension in partnership with Metrolinx.
The Board of Directors also extends its sincere appreciation to Paul Jankowski, outgoing President and CEO, for his leadership and contributions to the Corporation.
